Kitchen “Taste of the Good Life”- Evo Delivers On the Experience by Perry Michael Reinstein

When Isabel and Carmelo first walking into Evo Design Center, they were only looking for ideas on how to update their modest kitchen into something they could enjoy more but weren’t even sure where to start. After meeting with Perry Michael Reinstein, CKD and owner of EVO, they both decided then, “When we do our kitchen, this is the place we must use.” A few months later, they were ready to plan the project and returned to Evo Design Center to discuss their job. With uncertainty as to how to layout the kitchen and dining room, Reinstein visited the site and saw the new beautiful pool right outside the back of the house. He suggested moving the kitchen into the dining room area, opening up the space and adding large windows which would brightn and enlarge the whole space as we as provide a safety factor. “You’re able to really watch the pool and your kids’ safety” stated Perry. During the design process just wanted a taste of the good life;” not really thinking that her home could give her that. They wanted a very light and inviting room with food flow patterns. A main wall was removed to accommodate a large island that could seat the whole family as well as make space for a suitable dining room for larger family functions. They chose a white detailed shaker style cabinet, Calcutta gold-look Quartz countertop, beveled subway tiles with a cracked glass accent for the backsplash and a beautiful stained walnut island countertop. Wainscoting and other custom molding work throughout the home added architectural interest and a beautiful window seat is the perfect place to overlook the pool; really providing “a taste of the good life!”
